We are always looking for new fosterers for our dogs to join our network of foster homes throughout the UK.
WHAT IS FOSTERING?
Fostering our dogs is an invaluable service provided to Romanian Rescue Appeal. Our fosterers provide temporary care for our dogs in their homes until they can be adopted.
WHY FOSTER?
Some of the reasons for fostering a dog are:
To provide potential owners with a chance to meet their dog before adopting.
To provide Romanian Rescue Appeal with vital back-up and support if an adoption falls through.
To provide care in a home environment for a dog that may not be coping well at one of our private shelters.
To free up space at our private shelters to rescue another dog and therefore save another life.
HOW DO I FOSTER?
There are three easy steps in our fostering process:
STEP ONE: ENQUIRY

STEP TWO: HOMECHECK
A homecheck will be arranged to establish the most suitable foster dogs for you.
We will discuss with you all the details of your foster dog and you can make the decision whether to proceed with fostering the dog.
STEP THREE: FOSTERING AGREEMENT
We retain ownership of the dog and may require the dog to be returned to us at any time.
We ask that you sign a Foster Contract agreeing to provide care for the dog until their forever home is found.
We maintain regular contact with you and require you to assess the dog and provide photos and updates on request.
We will be fully involved in finding your foster dog a forever home.
You will be provided with a detailed fostering information pack and our team will be available at all times to offer any help and support as required.
